Hi I'm Carolina,
ARTIST | DESIGNER
I'm a Peruvian-American artist and designer based in Encinitas, CA.
I am the founder of Artebycaro where I create custom designs and wallpaper, hand painted murals, and art canvases for homes and businesses and spaces all around the world.
My work is rooted in a deep love for nature, color and everyday life. Blending my South - American heritage with the coastal creative energy of San Diego.
“I've always been inspired by nature, women, and the divine energy that connects us all. In my work you can see vibrant whimsical worlds which are often a fusion between real life and my imagination. My work invites you to slow down, wander, and immerse yourself in a world where imagination blooms "
THE JOURNEY
I fell in love with drawing and painting since I was three years old,and grew up in a creative and entrepreneurial family that encouraged me to dream big and make things with my own hands.I studied Illustration at Art Center College of Design, where I earned my BFA, with a focus on Surface Design.
What started as a love for painting and illustration has grown into a world of its own. From feminine figure paintings and playful patterns to custom wallpaper and large-scale murals, my work continues to evolve. Now, I’m bringing it all together with a wallpaper collection you can shop online, alongside custom designs made just for your space.
This is my journey and I am so glad your here!
